Eight-year-old Lyuda from the Gostomel community wrote a letter to St. Nicholas in which she asked for a new school instead of the one destroyed by the Russians. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science.
Lyuda studied at Lyceum No. 3 in the village of Gorenko, but it was destroyed by the Russians during a full-scale war. Only the ruins remained of the building. Now the students of the lyceum study at another school, where a ride was arranged, or remotely.
In his letter to St. Nicholas, Luda writes: "I am asking to donate a new school, because mine was burned down by the Rashists." And he adds that, if it doesn't work out, then let Mykolay take "a lot of goodies to the soldiers' uncles."
The Department of Regional Development of KOVA is already working on the reconstruction project of Lyceum No. 3. It is planned to turn it into a modern space with a shelter, so Lyudi's dream must come true.
As noted by the Ministry of Education, Russians destroy Ukrainian schools, kindergartens and universities every day. Almost 4,000 educational institutions have already suffered from their shelling and bombing.
