Ukrainian singer and songwriter JAMALA has released a new song "Shut Up" about the right to be yourself. It is the third song from her upcoming album "My Movement", which will be released on March 27.

"Shut Up" was born from the singer's personal experience of observing how people in common companies diverge — sometimes loudly, sometimes painfully.

At a certain point, I realized: the most important thing is not to create unnecessary drama. Don't let someone else's conflict drag you into a whirlpool of emotions and accusations. Silence can be a strength. Sometimes "shut up" is not about aggression, but about a boundary: "Go away, don't waste your time on me. I'm not for you...", the artist commented.

The release of the track was accompanied by a lyric video shot by the team of director Lesya Podolyanko. It visually continues the idea of minimalism and conveys the energy of spring and beginnings, a state of inner renewal and a return to oneself.

The premiere symbolically took place on the eve of International Women's Day, as the song is a dedication to women and the right to choose their own path, remaining independent of other people's conflicts, expectations, and imposed roles.
