Nine free tours of Kyiv will be held this week: how to get there

The Department of Tourism and Promotions of the Kyiv City State Administration and the Kyiv Tourism Development Center have prepared nine free tours of the capital this week.

❗️ Due to the very high demand and limited number of places during martial law, registration is mandatory for each participant separately.
💠 Excursion to "Stary Podol".
You will walk along the famous Petro Sahaidachny Street, learn how Podil has changed from the beginning of its development to the present day, and get acquainted with its unique objects from the point of view of history and architecture, including the oldest building in Kyiv, the Pharmacy Museum, the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (founded 400 years ago), and ancient temples.
👣 Route: metro station "Kontraktova Ploshcha" → Church of Mykola Prytsyka → Pharmacy-Museum on Podil → Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary of Pyrohoshcha → Kontraktovoy Dom → Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos → Manor of the Balabukh family → Poshtova Ploshcha.

💠 Excursion "Through the alleys of Kyiv's Kudryavts".

During the tour, you will learn how the University initiated the development of a new quarter of Kyiv, and also get acquainted with the history of the creation of a magnificent park and botanical garden around the Red Building.
